Will not be the end of college basketball. It'll be a fresh overhaul...

Most fans follow the team based on them winning, as well as longer term player development. If you remove the individuals who are only attending college as a pathway to the NBA, this solves a lot of problems. Let's be real here - these elite prospects contribute more to college than they get. It's financially foolish for them to stay and earn a degree. Having an alternate route provdies more spots for student athletes who value a college degree.
